LEE ANN WOMACK's new album, Call Me Crazy, lands in stores October 21st featuring her current single, "Last Call." The CD cover is quite fun, though, with a photo showing Lee Ann's legs coming out of a late '60's-era purple pod chair. This project is Lee Ann's first release since her CMA Award-winning 2005 project, There's More Where That Came From.

A new collection of duets from GEORGE JONES, titled Burn Your Playhouse Down, is released today featuring never-before released collaborations with late TAMMY WYNETTE, VINCE GILL and DOLLY PARTON, among others. George and Tammy's daughter, GEORGETTE JONES, sings on the opening track "You and Me and Time," and KEITH RICHARDS of the ROLLING STONES joins The Possum on the title track.

Eva Longoria Parker is the host and executive producer of the American Latino Media Arts Awards, aka the ALMA Awards, presented last night in Pasadena, California. The ALMAs air September 12th on ABC-TV

Toby Keith and Jessica Simpson will take part in the A-B-C special America United: In Support of Our Troops. The show will feature the artists performing for troops at bases around the world. Other artists in the show include Snoop Dogg, Janet Jackson and Jordin Sparks. America United airs on A-B-C on September 7^th

LEANN RIMES has been onstage since she was practically a toddler, so a concert has to be pretty spectacular to entertain her. LeAnn tells the Houston Chronicle that her favorite concert ever was an AEROSMITH show. She says, quote, "I know all the songs. They rock, and STEVEN TYLER is very sexy onstage." LeAnn's currently on the road with KENNY CHESNEY's Poets & Pirates tour, with a show in Charlotte, North Carolina coming up this Thursday.

Tim McGraw and John Rich will join Dierks Bentley when he hosts his third annual Miles & Music for Kids celebrity motorcycle ride and concert to benefit Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Taking place Oct. 5, the hour-long ride begins south of Nashville and ends at Riverfront Park in downtown Nashville for a concert featuring the three stars. "This event has turned into one of the highlights of my year," Bentley said. "I can't think of a better way to spend an October day in Nashville than riding motorcycles in the afternoon and playing guitars and singing with some buddies at sundown.  Everyone has been so supportive, and I'm really proud of the money we've been able to raise for Vanderbilt over the last few years." Additional artists are expected to be announced for the event.
